Visual Behavior
Winner of the French national innovation award (iLab), Visual Behavior developed a software vision sensor addressing mobile robots' autonomy. Aloception provides the essential components of the scene: navigable areas, obstacles, and robot location. Based solely on cameras, this technology reduces hardware and development costs, while increasing the adaptability of robots in their environment.
Children walk before they talk. We focus the autonomy of mobile robots back on their degree of intelligence rather than on the number and nature of sensors they have.
